Training
We take training and development very seriously at Comet. So whatever role you join us in, you'll receive ongoing training specifically tailored to you.
You'll sit down with your manager on a regular basis to work out which skills you need to excel at your job and make your way up through the business. Then we'll organise something to meet your needs, whether it's on-the-job coaching, formal training or the opportunity to study towards a qualification.
Retail e-learning
To help our colleagues learn about the products they're selling, we provide them with regularly updated e-learning modules. This is how you'll pick up all that detailed knowledge that's so important when it comes to offering great service. It'll give you the confidence to answer any questions a customer might throw at you, and make it easier for you to find the product that's right for them.
Each module introduces you to a set of products, helping you to learn what they do, how they work, and the kind of special features they have. You then have to take a short test, which lets you know whether or not you've got all the knowledge you need.
The great thing is, because it's an online tool, you're able to work through the training at your own pace and when it's most convenient for you.
